For the record, I — on behalf of the East Timor and Indonesia Action Network (ETAN) — distribute material from a range of political, governmental and non-governmental sources to do with Timor-Leste. We try to do this in an unbiased manner as they are receuved, (except for the fact that the list we maintain is an english-language one). Fretilin is a major political party in Timor We will certainly continue to circulate their press releases, along with those of the AMP government and its constituent parties. Caro John,enviei-lhe um e-mail onde descrevi aquilo que senti ser uma resposta razoável dentro deste contexto que defino como ‘maré viva’ da propaganda e divulgação indiscriminada da FRETILIN retro.Portugal tem sofrido vagas desse tipo de material. O que magoa … o que é pernicioso e contraprodutivo.Leio a vossa informação há algum tempo pelo que me atrevo a dar este parecer.Sobre traduções, saberá melhor do que eu que as ferramentas do Google traduzem basicamente do Inglês para Português e vice versa e que o Tetun ainda não se encontra contemplado (ao contrário do Indonésio – o que representa um avanço significativo).Também, a maioria dos textos que recebemos de Timor estão em Inglês pelo que, não vejo como o ajudar.Regards,M.

John,The people of Timor-Leste are going from bad to much better with the AMP government.No matter what Fretlin says it will not change this fact.Fretilin should come do an act of contrition and tell the people what they did with the 54% of the total state expenses (approx USD$90 million) that they made disappear withou a trace under the ‘no vendor’ expenses during their corrupt rule.Christmas is fast approaching and they could redeem themselves by bying every single child in Timor-Leste a present. They dont have to spend all the disappeared money…just part of it.Merry Christmas.
